Custom ECU tuning and performance packages for the V8 LandCruiser, written and tested on our own dyno in Dubbo. Choose a Touring tune with the standard turbo, or step up to our 300 hp and 400 hp packages. Our best 79 has made 418 hp and over 1,050 Nm at the wheels. 79 Series V8 results on our Dubbo dyno
Every LandCruiser 76, 78 and 79 Series V8 we tune (VDJ76, VDJ78 and VDJ79 with the 4.5L 1VD-FTV) is run on our Dyno Dynamics dyno in Dubbo before and after, so you see the gain on paper, not just a claim.
At the wheels on our dyno: stock 146.5 hp / 332 Nm, Touring package 229.5 hp / 723 Nm, 300 hp package up to 319.1 hp / 1,057 Nm, and 400 hp package 418 hp / 1,052.5 Nm.

How much power does a 79 Series tune add?
It depends on the year, condition and parts fitted. On our dyno, a stock 79 made 146.5 hp and 332 Nm at the wheels. With our Touring tune on the standard turbo it made 229.5 hp and 723 Nm. Every 79 we tune gets its own before and after dyno sheet.
Do you tune DPF 79 Series?
Yes. We tune the pre-DPF V8s (2007–2016) and the later DPF models. On DPF vehicles the tune is set up around the factory emissions system. Pick your model in the build sheet so we quote the right parts.
What parts do I need for 300 hp or 400 hp?
Our 300 hp package uses a G-Turbo G333 turbo, rail blank, custom tune and an NPC clutch. 400 hp needs the G400 turbo, an intercooler (front mount or high-flow top mount) and +100 injectors together. The build sheet shows what each package includes.
Is a tuned 79 good for towing?
Yes, towing is one of the main reasons 79 owners come to us. Put your towing weight in the build sheet and we'll set the tune and parts up around how you use your 79.
How long does it take?
It depends on the tune and any parts being fitted. We'll confirm timing when you book in.
